Festival Archives

Founded in 2004 by the Madison Flute Club with the sponsorship of UW-Madison Professor Stephanie Jutt and the UW-Madison Flute Studio, the statewide Wisconsin Flute Festival had modest beginnings with an ambitious vision. Each year, the annual gathering of flutists and other music lovers has grown both in depth and outreach.

Featuring prominent guest artists, performers, clinicians and volunteers, the Wisconsin Flute Festival offers educational opportunities to musicians and interested community of all ages. The program includes and evening concert, competitions, master classes, flute choir reading sessions and other participatory offerings.
